About
Jasmine holds a MA in Communication from Simon Fraser University, as well as joint BA in English Literature and Communication.
She is primarily interested in the relationship between community-based labour practices and identity, with a focus on fandom and queerness. Their previous work focused on the intersections of transcultural fan labour, government policies, and corporate strategies that have allowed for Korean popular music to be leveraged as a soft power tool.
